How did Ash manage to keep his hat on in the whirlpool after the Gyarados
did Dragon Rage? Submitted by peeshy@hotmail.com
Why doesn't anyone ever NAME their Pokemon? It would be a
smart move since all Pokemon of the same species look almost identical.
What would happen if someone lost their Pokemon? What would they put on
the flyers? "LOST: EKANS. SMALL. PURPLE. ANSWERS TO THE NAME OF EKANS." I
doubt that would ring a bell in anyone's mind.
Why doesn't Jessie and James get immediately arrested in every town they enter? Their Team Rocket uniforms are rather conspicous! Wouldn't people see those big, red "R"s emblazoned on their chests and say "Hey! Those people are with Team Rocket!"
What is the difference between all the different electric attacks?! Whether
Ash tells Pikachu to do electric attack, thunder, thundershock, thunderbolt,
etc, Pikachu still does the exact same thing! Sure, in the game, there' a
difference. Each of them is weaker or stronger than another. But in the
anime, Pikachu will do the exact same electrical attack thingy! Ash should
just say, "Pikachu! Electrocute Team Rocket!" and it would do the exact same
thing as in any other episode. Poor Jessie. The way she keeps her hair, it
must be a nightmare keeping it from being super-staticy. Oh wait, this is an
anime. I forgot their famous laws of physics. ^_^
After Misty wacks Caterpie, all Ash
does is say he dosn't like the way she was treating Caterpie. Why
dosn't he do something else? If someone wacked my Pokémon I'd kick
there @$$.
In the episode:The Bridge Bike Gang, how did Ash's
Charmander set that bikers Golem on fire? In the game my Charmander
couldn't burn brocks GEODUDE until it
evolved into Charmeleon.
Duplica says that Ditto is one-of-a-kind and no other Pokémon can
Transform. If this is true how come Mew is able to use that attack?
how did the desk, chair and computer not to mention ash, joy, pikachu, and misty
survie that expolsion in the pokemon center in viridian center?
why would oak have a show on at 11:00 for the "new pokemon trainers" if they
had to go to bed eariler, if they had to go to bed then he would be sayign
this to noone! and if they were watching it...then theyn were up past their
bed time
In the Purr-fect hero, why did Ash let the kids play with all his Pokemon except Charizard? Was he
worried that Charizard might get hungry and bite one of the kid's head off?
And, while we're on this episode, how come Gary got his Pokemon first, and Ash arrives right after him? When did the other two arrive? If they arrived before Gary or Ash, how did Gary get first pick???
In the Lt. Surge episode, Lt. Surge's Raichu does a lot of attacks-- I counted Mega Kick, Mega Punch, Thundershock, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Body Slam, and Tail Whip. What happened to the four attack limit?
How does Ash (or any other victims of the stupid rat, for that matter) survive all of Pikachu's attacks? And why is it that Pikachu is perfectly able to aim at one Pokemon in a battle, but when he attempts to electrocute any certain TR member, or anyone outside of a formal battle, for that matter, he ends up electrocuting everyone?
When did the Pokecenter change from a place to heal your
Pokemon to a 24/7 inn for Ash-tachi?
Why is it that in the episode:Charmander, the stray Pokemon, Damien had a
whole bunch of Pokeballs on the table with Pokemon in them. Where as, as
soon as Ash caught a Krabby, it immedietly was transported to Oak because a
trainer can only carry up to six Pokemon. Well, how come Damien's didn't
get transported? Why does the Pokedex say that Raichu's lightning can render a Dragonite unconscious? I tried battling Lance's Dragonite with a L100 Raichu and its thundershock only took half the HP away.
In the first episode, 4 trainers set of from Pallet Town. Ash is one of them.
Ash couldn't get one of the starting Pokémon. But I found out that Gary
didn't pick one of the starting Pokémon.( But I don't know what Pokémon he
got.) So why were there 3 pokéballs missing. There should have been 2 missing.
In the Sabrina saga p.1 her father says
that you must have a psychic link with your psychic Pokemon to control them,
so then how did the guy who had Drowzee and Hypno control them?
Why
does Ash destroy almost every gym he goes to- Lt. Surge's was vaporized by
Raichu's fight, The Cerulean's sisters water was sucked all the way out,
Erika's was set on fire, and A.J's got cracked when Sandshrew did fissure
stirke
If Dragonite are really about 7'03 (in the game), why was the one in the lighthouse episode so enormous?
Why does Jessie keep the Lickitung she caught? Isn't Team
Rocket's goal to send rare Pokemon to Giovanni? C'mon Jessie, if you want
to impress Giovanni with rare Pokemon, send him Lickitung!
And speaking of Giovanni and rare Pokemon, why didn't Giovanni sell (or
do whatever Team Rocket does with rare Pokemon) his Meowth? It's a
TALKING MEOWTH. You can't get much more rare than that.
In "Electric Shock Showdown" Pikachu knocks the ThunderStone out of
Ash's hand to show he didn't want to evolve. Why didn't he evolve once he
touched it to knock it out of Ash's hand? And if he DID decide to evolve,
what would Ash need to do with the stone in order to turn Pikachu into a
Raichu since touching it had no effect? Would he have to make him eat it
or something?
Why are all the Pokemon referred to as "it?" I would like
to think the trainers cared enough to know the gender of their own
Pokemon!
Why does Hitmonchan's trainer offer to train Primeape to become a real P1
champ when Primeape already is a champ? In the first episode, four kids set off from Pallet Town to become Pokemon trainers. Ash is one of them. When he gets to Professor Oak, Oak says he's been expecting him. But all of Oak's Pokemon are gone when Ash arrives, and he says it's because "Ash wasn't on time and missed out". What the heck is that? If Oak knows that he has to provide four people with Pokemon, why does the last person to arrive miss out?
In the Jigglypuff episode Bulbasaur battled Wheezing and won. How can this
happen? Most Koffings are at least at Level 28 and most Bulbasaurs are
Level 5-16! Vine whip should have done a pathetic ammount of damage at
most.
In the episode "Mystery at the Lighthouse", Bill said that only 150 Pokemon
have been discovered or something like that. Then how come he didn't know
about Dragonite if it was one of the 150?
In the episode with all the prehistoric Pokemon, how the hell did Team
Rocket manage to get out of the underground cave when they were surrounded
by all those sleeping Pokemon and empty-handed?
The pokéballs seemingly convert mass (the pokémon) into energy.
Considering that this was remotely possible, wouldn't that hurt like heck?
(Unless all pokémon are secretly masochists. . . .)
Where exactly does Jigglypuff store the marker it uses? It grunts "PUFFFF!"
and the whips it out from . . . behind. um . . . I wouldn't smell that thing
anytime soon. YEEUCK
Has anyone noticed that in the early episodes, Ash knew what the Pokemon
were? I mean, he could recognize a Pidgey and a Pidgeotto and a Caterpie
easily! And he had a *ton* of PokeMerchandise in his room, so he must have
known a lot about Pokemon...then how did he get *dumber* and forget all of
this on his Pokemon journey?
In the Pokémon game, Gyrados' Dragon Rage sucks, only a measly 40 damage. But
in the Show, it makes it look like it's very strong and powerful. How about
that?
In "Electric Shock Showdown", why didn't Pikachu
evolve when he hit the Thunderstone?
How did Caterpie beat Team Rocket with String Shot? Was it
because it belonged to Ash?
If pikachu hates to be in pokeballs then how come in the one where he
fights brock he has a pokeball and says "Pikachu return". How could the
pokeball work if Pikachu never went in it.
In the episode where ash gets his charmander, they
said that if his tail is exposed to water, he'll die. So how come
Charmander's still alive after Charmander and everyone else fell off the
roller coaster into the lake in "The Island of the Giant Pokemon"?
In the episode about maiden's peak, you see a
Gastly talking. Ok so it can speak english. If it can speak english, how
come it just says "gastly, gastly" in the episode "Tower of Terror?
If nobody knew what Dragonite was in the Lighthouse episode, why did the Pokedex in the next episode say a Raichu's lightning could render a Dragonite unconscious? How could one measure such a thing without having a Dragonite to compare it to? In the Cerulean City episode, how did Team Rocket manage to smuggle that enormous tank/hose/vacuum thing out of a little vent?
Okay, in "The flame pokemonathon" Ash asked dexter what Growlthe was. Then
in "Case of the k-9 caper." He asked dexter what Growlthe was again. WHY???
Did Ash suddenly lose his memory or what?!
In "Mystery at the Lighthouse," Bill says that the Dragonite (aka Big Shadowy Thing in the
Water) is the only one. If this is so, then how come one delivers an invitation to Ash-tachi in
Mewtwo's Strikes Back?
How did AJ get Sandshrew to learn fissure? If he hadn't gotten any badges
yet, that means he never got the TM for fissure.
Why does Ash have an unlimited supply of pokéballs?
How old is Brock supposed to be? Many say he's 14, but to be a parental
guardian, you have to be at least 18.
Doesn't anyone in pokémon have to go to school?
How does Ash know what pokéball belongs to which pokémon? Don't you think
having a lot of pokéballs on your belt confuses you?
How'd they fit Onix in Todd's house? Onix is almost 29 feet long!
Bulbasaurs attacks are potentially strong. That's all fine and dandy, but
I'd like to know how he hurts people with leaves.
What do pokémon do in their pokéballs? It must be boring in there.
How come, in the Mystery of the Lighthouse, Bill supposedly knows more than Professor Oak,
and yet doesn't recognize Dragonite when he sees it?
And, if nobody in the episode knew what Dragonite was, why in the world didn't Ash ask Dexter?!
It's like he only uses his Pokédex on Pokémon everybody else in the show has heard of!
Also, why would whoever made the Kabuto costume put the release button out of reach? Talk
about being shortsighted. ^_^
How could Bill understand a Pokémon he'd never met before when Ash has trouble
understanding Pikachu sometimes?
If Pokemon represent animals (a Caterpie represents a caterpillar, a
Meowth represents a cat, etc.), then what the heck is a Koffing
supposed to be?
When Ash or Team Rocket get burned by a fire pokemon like
Charmander/Charmeleon, how come in the next scene their skin is not
roasted anymore?
In the show, why does Koffing always smile even the times when he gets
his butt kicked? Where does Team Rocket keep their things? They have endless outfits and so much material with which to build weapons/machines/hot air balloons... yet, they're always moving, so they can't store their stuff in one particular place. They don't carry backpacks, and seem to have no pockets. If Ash's Krabby was so small and weak (as it was; even Oak said so), how did it evolve so fast? For that matter, how did Charmeleon evolve so fast? Natural order of things goes flying out the window... ^_^;;
Where do all the fans/mallets/bombs/whatnot come from?
How come no one stays wet for longer than the few seconds they're
being splashed/dunked/"water gunned"?
In the Squirtle episode, Ash is on his way to the Pokemart when he falls
like a thousand feet from a bridge into a river. Then a Goldeen
hits him with its horn hard enough to blast him way back up above the
bridge. Apparently he is unhurt, because next we see him in
front of the Pokemart, where somebody accidentally hits him with the
door as they are exiting. So he passes out and stays unconscious
for a long time.
I think that this is a little unrealistic. Shouldn't it be the other
way around?
In Pokemon Shipwreck, why were Jessie and James worried that they would
drown? 'Cause, in The Bridge Bike Gang, they rode for at least two miles
under water on a unicycle without breathing.
In the episode where Bulbasaur nearly evolves, Team Rocket sucks up a whole lot of Ivysaur with a big vacuum. What I want to know is, why wasn't Bulbasaur sucked up? Was it somehow immune just because it wasn't an Ivysaur? I mean, Bulbasaur's smaller than Ivysaur so you'd think it'd be sucked up more easily... In the first episode, why does Gary drive off without his fanclub?
How did Pikachu disarm the "electric bomb" in hardly any time?
Does it even know how to do it? Or was the bomb just faulty and Pikachu
managed to fix it by the end of the show?
What on earth happened to pikachu's voice in the first half of "The School
of Hard Knocks"? Was the pikachu voice actor late or something and they had
to get Jigglypuff's voice actor to do a quick replacement because they were
running out of time?
In "Pokemon Shipwreck", shouldn't Ash, Brock, Misty, Jessie, James & Meowth
all have died due to the intense pressure deep in the ocean, crushing all
windows and letting the water in?
In the Pokemon episode that first shown a Dragonite, the assistant of Dr. Oak
says there are about 150 Pokemon in the world. Unless he was saying that Mew
was the 150th Pokemon, it couldn't be possible since Mewtwo wasn't created
yet.
Hey, remember the episode when Metapod evolved into Butterfree? When Ash used
Butterfree's Sleep powder to knock out all the Weedle and Beedrill, why
didn't he capture one for himself? Did he just leave all that Beedril and
Weedle lying around? If Koffing only evolve into Weezing by fusing together 'over many years', how did James' evolve so fast?
In the episode where Ash finds a Clefairy, the Clefairy was holding a Moon
Stone. How come it didn't evolve? I thought that if a Clefairy is exposed to
a Moon Stone, it will evolve into a Clefable.
Jessie and James are supposed to be twelve. How can this be when Jessie is: so curvy with large breasts and is in team rocket and James has: Ran away from home, flunked a pokemon school, been in a bike gang, and joined team
rocket. Also, why would you get married at twelve? Jessie and james are also the same height as adults, and were apparently driving a car in the episode
"a chansey operation".
(I took this one from a question on a mailing list.) Will someone please help me figure out how in the episode where Charmander evolved to Charmeleon that Exeggcute evolved into Exeggcutor without a leaf stone?
Why is Ash
always wondering why Gary is always ahead? I mean, if you were to
have a race with your opponent riding a sportscar and you walking,
who would win?
When and where does Team Rocket bathe? They'd be apprehended if they ever wandered into a pokemon
center, and they live in a hot air balloon, no running water. I feel really bad for Ash and company now... They'd be getting a little ripe by now, wouldnt you think? HOW did Gary and the other two trainers from Pallet manage to get the Marshbadge from Sabrina? I thought she was practically unbeatable! Why is there hardly any merchandise with Ekans or Arbok on it? In 'The Battling Eevee Brothers', *what* was the attack that Eevee used against Team Rocket? Mikey ordered it to do takedown-rage-tackle attack. ?? What's more, how could Eevee send ALL of Team Rocket flying? I'd understand it sending one of them flying, but how could it hit all of them at once? Pokemon communicate by saying their own names, or variations of them. When Pikachu says "pikachu!" it means something, for example. So, what I want to know is, when Meowth says "Meowth, that's right!", what does the 'Meowth' mean? A dirty word? Something that can't be put into English? Something beyond the comprehension of us humans? Or is he just saying his own name? ^_^.
What's wrong with Giovanni's voice, on the Anime? Is his Phone messed up? Is
he sick? And why does he say he just got up from taking a 'nap'? (on the
episode with the giant pokemon) It's morning! and (if I'm not mistaken) he
gets a call from Pokemon Land and he is still in bed (and he gets up and anwsers the phone)!!! Does he live in his bedroom!?
On the 'Battle on the ST.Anne' James dresses like the teenage girl and if
it wasn't for the voice you wouldn't know it was James! He has the greatest
legs I've ever seen on a guy! I mean, HEY! Have you ever seen a guy with legs
like that?
Why,on 'Butterfree's Goodbye',is the girl butterfree the only pink butterfree?
What in the world is Team Rocket up
to? Sure, they're trying to catch rare and powerful pokemon, but..... why?
What's the motive behind it? Are they trying to sell them on the black
market? Are they trying to create an army to take over the world? What? After Ash sets Butterfree free, he catches Primeape which takes its place. Then he leaves Primeape, but doesn't replace it. This means Ash is only carrying five Pokemon around... why doesn't he take Krabby with him or something? Why do Team Rocket usually use a hot air balloon for transportation? I mean, whenever they use one, it always gets popped. I would've thought something like a tank would be more appropriate, given how accident prone they are. ^_^. How come Pikachu manages to toast Geodude? Geodude is part ground-type and ground-types aren't even affected by the strongest electricity attacks. Who in their right mind would call all their kids the same thing? Wouldn't it be a bit frustrating calling "Jenny, come here!" (or "Joy, come here!") and having all your kids and nieces running towards you? Shouldn't Team Rocket have some sort of permanent injuries after repeatedly flying off cliffs, crashing in their hot air balloon, drowning, being electrocuted, torched, etc? And since they never seem to acquire these, why do they always act so scared in the face of danger? Don't they know they're invincible? ^_^. In one episode, Professor Oak said that Gary and Ash's other rivals had 45 Pokemon each. In a later episode, he said they had about 30 each. Where did the Pokemon go? ^_^. Why is it that the hospital (in A Chansey Operation) had only one employee? And since he was about to go off-duty, WHAT was going to happen to all the sick patients? Why is it that all these Pokemon evolve just when Ash-tachi appear on the scene? Ponyta evolves into Rapidash while he's on it, Venonat evolves into Venomoth (Koga) while he's fighting it, Abra evolves into Kadabra (Sabrina) while he's fighting it, Mankey evolves into Primeape while it's beating up on Ash, etc. Why doesn't James kick every Pokemon he sees? When he kicked Magikarp, it turned into Gyarados. When he kicked Mankey, it turned into Primeape. I see a pattern. Go for it, James. ^_^. Why do all the main female characters (except for Jenny) have reddish coloured hair? How did Ash and his Primeape win the P1 Championship without any training whatsoever? How did Ash win a Pokemon race when he's never raced before in his life? WHY did Pikachu choose to enter the race riding on Squirtle? Good logic, Pikachu. If I were going to enter a race, I'd use a turtle-like Pokemon too. ^_^. |
